What are five character traits you would use to describe yourself?

FoxTips

Let your personality shine through and try to give your interviewer a balanced picture of you. The character traits don't just have to be positive, but they should certainly be the focus.

Be self-confident and list five of your "qualities". After that, you can mention with a smile (humour always goes down well) that you do of course have some negative character traits, but they didn't make it into the top five. It's important that you can back up each of your character traits with a specific example.

Be sure to mention character traits that will end up helping you do your job. Examples: structured, team player, realistic, flexible, but also impatient.

Should the interviewer then ask about any negative character traits, be upfront and give 1-2 examples, while emphasising your desire to improve these things about yourself.
