We are looking for a Student Assistant to come and work in Vattenfall’s Offshore Development to assist the Windfarm Design Management team. The role will be mainly based in Vattenfall’s Hamburg office but with flexibility including working from home. This position will be a great opportunity for someone who is interested in offshore wind and the renewable energy sector to get some first-hand experience from an experienced and international team!

As this role will be open to students only it is expected that a successful candidate would be able to work 10 – 15 hours per week.

Your responsibilities as a Student Assistant, Windfarm Design Management:

  • Maintain and support the Windfarm Design Management Team regarding the portfolio view (Sharepoint) to enhance close collaboration on the main deliverables
  • Review and establish the Handbook for the Technical Project Managers with the respective support from the Experts
  • Standardisation of the templates in use across the Windfarm Design Management
  • Supporting with various administrative tasks whenever needed:
    • Monthly reporting
    • Prepare slides for internal meetings and note minutes of meetings


 

Ihr Profil


 

Your qualifications as a student assistant, Windfarm Design Management:

Candidates should have:

  • Be currently studying for an undergraduate or postgraduate course
  • Be interested in offshore wind and renewable energy
  • Have good communicational skills and are fluent in English
  • The ability to build trust and to be a team player in an international team
  • A wish to work in an international multi-disciplinary team
  • Can go to our Hamburg office in person approx. 1 day a week in order to coordinate with your contact persons

Conditions

  • Start: as soon as possible
  • Duration: at least one year with optional extension
  • Working hours: maximum 20 hours per week, during the semester break up to 37 hours per week (full-time) possible
